The water shoes are perfect for my favorite aquatic activity, I make sure to have them handy when I'm out and about near water. The shoe design is fun, and there are 6 colors to choose from. I opted for the black/lime color and they are so neat looking!


I love walking streams looking for rock treasures and the shoes are perfect for this activity. Plus, they are great to wear to the beach or for swimming. Prayer is a large part of my daily life, and I can't see going a day without it. Giving thanks is also a very important part of my mornings. Do you pray? If so, does saying prayers come easy for you, or do you stumble when saying them? I feel we all have our moments when we don't know what to say to God. I 'm guilty of stumbling in prayer, but I say what comes from my heart, even if my words are a scrambled mess. I'm pretty sure God will understand my words no mater what!

Why Do We Pray - Prayer is how we communicate with God. Prayer allows us to give thanks to God. We worship and praise him. It also allows us to ask forgiveness for our sins, and present our requests to God. Prayer also gives us the power over evil. Prayer is powerful, and bonds believers together. I also say a couple who prays together, stays together!

This a beautiful little book filled with Biblical insight, and it will be read over and over again. I highly recommend this book. This book encourages me, it explains what prayer is about, and why it is the way.

For some people, praying comes as naturally as breathing; to others it is a difficult, arduous task. Philip urges any who are hesitant to take the plunge---outlining four blessings all will receive. About the Author:
William Philip has been senior minister of The Tron Church in Glasgow, Scotland, since 2004. He was formerly director of ministry at the Proclamation Trust in London and is now chairman of Cornhill Scotland, an organization committed to training pastors for expository preaching. Prior to ordination, he was a doctor specializing in cardiology. He is the author of Why We Pray.

Alistair Begg served two churches in his native Scotland before answering the call in 1983 to become senior pastor at Parkside Church in suburban Cleveland, OH. A graduate of the London School of Theology, he has written several books and is heard daily on the national radio program Truth For Life.
